DRYWALL INSTALLATION SERVICE CONTRACT
This Drywall Contract is entered into on (Date)_________________________, by and between
(Customer)___________________________ and NORTH HOMES LTD who agree as follows:
1. Contract
Customer and NORTH HOMES LTD wish to enter into the following Contract whereby
NORTH HOMES LTD shall furnish labor for the construction of: _____________________________________________________________________

2. Materials
Unless otherwise described in this Contract, Customer will be responsible for securing all necessary Building Materials for NORTH HOMES LTD Work on this Project and will be responsible for the costs thereof.

3. Term and Schedule
NORTH HOMES LTD will begin work on _________________________. NORTH HOMES LTD agrees to complete this Project within ________________(Hours/Days) from the beginning of work. NORTH HOMES LTD is responsible for notifying Customer of any delay in performance immediately upon NORTH HOMES LTD knowledge that performance under this Contract will be delayed.
Should the performance of NORTH HOMES LTD Work be delayed or interfered with as a result of actions by the Owner, Contractor, Customer or another Subcontractor, NORTH HOMES LTD is entitled to request an extension of time for their Work. NORTH HOMES LTD further agrees that the extension of time for performance of this Project shall not be permitted without the Customer’s written consent, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
4. Security Deposit At the time of signing this Contract, a Security Deposit of $ 100.00 will become due.
The Deposit shall be returned to the Customer upon completion of this Contract or be forwarded to final invoice. If any Additional Charges become due, those charges will be deducted from the Security Deposit and kept by NORTH HOMES LTD.
5. Contract Price
Customer shall pay NORTH HOMES LTD a total price of:

in exchange for Work provided by NORTH HOMES LTD. Alternatively,
NORTH HOMES LTD shall be paid according to the following terms:

6. Payment
Payment shall be made by the Customer to NORTH HOMES LTD according to the following Payment:

7. Customer’s Obligations to NORTH HOMES LTD
Customer agrees to provide NORTH HOMES LTD with suitable areas for the storage of materials and equipment during NORTH HOMES LTD Work. Further, Customer agrees to work with NORTH HOMES LTD in scheduling and will make every effort to avoid conflicts and interference with NORTH HOMES LTD work.
8. NORTH HOMES LTD Obligations to Customer
NORTH HOMES LTD agrees to provide Customer with a list of any and all subcontractors and suppliers NORTH HOMES LTD hires if any and agrees to update said list throughout the life of the Project.
NORTH HOMES LTD agrees to work with Customer when scheduling and will make every effort to avoid conflicts and interference with the Customer’s work, as well as the work of any other subcontractors.
9. Project Site
NORTH HOMES LTD agrees to keep the Project site reasonably clean and to leave the site free of any debris, equipment, materials, etc. resulting from NORTH HOMES LTD Work at the completion of this Project.
10. Warranty
NORTH HOMES LTD shall guarantee that all work performed for this Project is done in a workmanlike manner, conforming to the Drawings attached (if any) as well as the industry best practices as of the date of this Agreement. If Customer
has reason to believe that the Work is defective, Customer shall notify NORTH HOMES LTD immediately and Customer shall do their best to mitigate any damage caused by said defect. NORTH HOMES LTD and/or an Agent of NORTH HOMES LTD shall be granted immediate access to the Property in order to investigate and inspect the defect. Upon completion,
NORTH HOMES LTD and/or their Agent will provide written notice of the results from their investigation and inspection to the Customer.
11. Permits and Licensing
Customer agrees to obtain all necessary permits for the performance of NORTH HOMES LTD Work and will do so at their own cost And Be Ready for Drywall Installation upon signing this contract.
12. PPE
NORTH HOMES LTD agrees to have all Protective Equipment
Covid-19 Precautions in place during All Customer Interactions, Proper PPE worn at All times, Gloves, Mask & Eye protection to Ensure Customer Safety.
13. Change Orders, Amendments, Alterations to Contract
Any change order, amendment, or alteration to this Agreement or the project Drawings must be agreed to by the Customer and NORTH HOMES LTD in writing.
14. On-Site Estimate
NORTH HOMES LTD Fee $100.00 for Time Spent and or Fuel for any on Site Measurement / Board Count / Quote / Takeoff.

15. Termination by NORTH HOMES LTD
If the Customer breaches any obligation created by this Contract, NORTH HOMES LTD may give the Customer a Notification of Breach which provides the Customer notification identifying the breach, in writing. Upon receipt of such Notification of Breach, Customer will have ONE HOUR to cure the breach. If the breach cannot be cured within ONE HOUR, NORTH HOMES LTD is entitled to terminate this Contract. NORTH HOMES LTD will remain entitled to payment for work performed prior to Termination.
This Contract is subject to the laws and regulations of ALBERTA.
